Is It Monday Already?

There are several post topics buzzing around in my head, but nothing has made it to the screen yet.

I feel like this little guy:

Too much choice. Not enough concentration. Too many distractions.

I plead guilty.

See you on Friday!

  2. I know the feeling when you have too much going on in your head and life to focus on blogging, but real life should always come first!

    1. Very true. It's not exactly that I've been busy, though, just unfocused ...

  4. Post topics? You mean stuff about posts - like goalposts, fence posts, gateposts? Not my favourite topic but hey, you have to be open-minded.

    1. No no no, not THOSE posts - the OTHER kind of post (mail, letters, parcels, stamps, that sort of thing). Really, YP! Can you not read peoples' minds yet?

  6. Buzzing! Good word. I feel the same as I have topics and organize the post in my head and fill in details as I write.

    1. Yep. It's when I have to look up too many things to get the details right that I stumble :)

  8. The things buzzing around my head are usually flies.

    1. Hah :) Well, I'm not actually sure the buzzing in my head isn't from flies, too ...

Somehow I missed your comment when it came in; sorry to take so long to find and publish it.

  9. I hear you. And so does the cat, so I better get the emu-feathers-on-fishing-line toy and quit slacking...

  11. You know what was super weird and I should write about it on the blog sometime, but when I decluttered, my focus which was already pretty good, went into lazer-sharp mode. So freaky.

And it's not that I don't have unfocused days, for sure I do, but when I have them it usually means I should be resting.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on. Thanks for visiting.

    1. That is interesting. I've heard it said that a cluttered environment distracts and uncluttered surroundings soothe. Makes sense.

    2. It works for me though some can really work in a cluttered area. I did for years. But now my focus is even strong AND no more need for a to-do list.

      Ever.

It's heaven. Heaven I say, heaven.

  12. I also find it hard to focus and get motivated to do anything in the middle of winter. So I try to set little goals for myself each week and each month to give myself little accomplishments every once in a while. Just hope that it will all work out!

    1. And that is probably how you accomplish so much! I need to give this a good trial.

Sorry I missed your comment until now; somehow it got lost in my email and I didn't find it until I checked my dashboard.
