Poetry Monday . . . Delayed by a day at the Donkey blog

Poetry Monday at Procrastinating Donkey will be held on Tuesday for this week only.

Check out Diane and Delores for their take on "doors," the topic for this week's poetry challenge.

Sorry for the delay, and see you tomorrow!

Here's a lolcat to tide you over until then:

I hear you, kitty. Let's have a nap, okay?

Sometimes delays are necessary. Often for our sanity :)

He looks kind of sad, which worries me. I hope it was just the camera angle.

They are the worst five days of the whole week! lol

This is starting out to be a strange week, so perhaps it's for the best.

These days I seem to be having a hard time with the weekends as well!
Looking forward to seeing what you make of doors!

Strange personally or news-wise? hah

Hi, e - hope all's well with you after the hurricane.

A bit sad but so pat-able!

It was harder than I thought it would be, so I made it easier - ha ha

I agree with the kitty, let's have another nap :)

jenny_o said...

You really can't go wrong with a nap, eh? :)

Both. It's a "red flag fire danger" day because of the heat, lack of humidity, and winds from the northeast, and PG&E is cutting electricity to areas where they are afraid the wind might blow power lines down and start fires like the Santa Rosa fires last year.
We're OK here, but these are the same conditions that caused the Oakland hills fire in October of '91.

Sorry to hear that, Doug - sounds serious. I hope conditions improve. Stay safe.
