There are several post topics buzzing around in my head, but nothing has made it to the screen yet.
I feel like this little guy:
Too much choice. Not enough concentration. Too many distractions.
I plead guilty.
See you on Friday!
(All photos thanks to icanhas.cheezburger.com. Used almost as often as Pixabay round these parts.)
Sorry to see you're not coping well...I hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was coping very well - I've gone into hiding!! Thanks, e :)
DeleteI know the feeling when you have too much going on in your head and life to focus on blogging, but real life should always come first!
ReplyDeleteVery true. It's not exactly that I've been busy, though, just unfocused ...
Deletei loved you current shades of moods dear friend.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed these photos a lot !
have a blessed days ahead!
Thank you, baili - the same to you!
DeletePost topics? You mean stuff about posts - like goalposts, fence posts, gateposts? Not my favourite topic but hey, you have to be open-minded.
ReplyDeleteNo no no, not THOSE posts - the OTHER kind of post (mail, letters, parcels, stamps, that sort of thing). Really, YP! Can you not read peoples' minds yet?
DeleteI can definitely identify with the "not-adulting" impulse!
ReplyDeleteSome days it's worse than others.
DeleteBuzzing! Good word. I feel the same as I have topics and organize the post in my head and fill in details as I write.
ReplyDeleteYep. It's when I have to look up too many things to get the details right that I stumble :)
DeleteHappy Monday....best . day . of . the . week.
ReplyDeleteOh, you ... you ... retiree you!!
DeleteThe things buzzing around my head are usually flies.
ReplyDeleteHah :) Well, I'm not actually sure the buzzing in my head isn't from flies, too ...
DeleteSomehow I missed your comment when it came in; sorry to take so long to find and publish it.
I hear you. And so does the cat, so I better get the emu-feathers-on-fishing-line toy and quit slacking...

Cats are worse bosses than bosses are :)
DeleteHAHA! The images were all so funny. At least your sense of humour is front and center :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the ability to enjoy humour is the last thing I lose!
DeleteActually I was just over at your blog getting another shot of fun :)
You know what was super weird and I should write about it on the blog sometime, but when I decluttered, my focus which was already pretty good, went into lazer-sharp mode. So freaky.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not that I don't have unfocused days, for sure I do, but when I have them it usually means I should be resting.
Anyway, sorry to ramble on. Thanks for visiting.
That is interesting. I've heard it said that a cluttered environment distracts and uncluttered surroundings soothe. Makes sense.
DeleteIt works for me though some can really work in a cluttered area. I did for years. But now my focus is even strong AND no more need for a to-do list.
DeleteEver.
It's heaven. Heaven I say, heaven.
I also find it hard to focus and get motivated to do anything in the middle of winter. So I try to set little goals for myself each week and each month to give myself little accomplishments every once in a while. Just hope that it will all work out!
ReplyDeleteAnd that is probably how you accomplish so much! I need to give this a good trial.
DeleteSorry I missed your comment until now; somehow it got lost in my email and I didn't find it until I checked my dashboard.
